"My mum was told this when she had me. I did the same with my little boy - barely anyone knows this trick!" one person commented on the video. Would this work on your bub?
If you've cared for a newborn, chances are you've experienced a poonami.
You know, one of those explosive poos that escapes the nappy, and covers the baby's back - necessitating a bath for the baby.
Apart from the extra work and usually incredibly inconvenient timing, poonamis can make you gag, cry, or both.
If you're #triggered by this introduction, then you know exactly what we mean. But if your poonami-risk is still high with a little one, read on, because one mum has got a hack for that.

RELATED: Mum shamed for changing baby’s nappy in public
Sharing a clip of the hack to her TikTok account @Super2Win, the mum wrote in the caption, "LIFE CHANGING HACK."
After putting the nappy on her baby as normal, the mum then flips the child over and folds the top of it down into the nappy.
"You fold the back of the diaper inward, like this," she says.
The video, originally shared to the mum's 8000 followers, has now been viewed 1.7 million times.
While there were some supportive comments, one parent was particularly excited, writing, "My mum got told this when she had me (30 years ago). I did the same with my little boy, barely anyone knows this trick!"
And then there was this dad, who shared... details.
"I remember when my 1.5-year-old was given chili," he wrote. "It was blowing up his back for a week. It was terrible."
Thank you, sir, for that great visual.

But the rest of the comments section was divided.
"Yeah… it doesn’t work," one wrote.
Another added: "Have tried everything… nothing can stop it, when it happens it happens… And everyone can smell it."
And a third agreed, writing: "If it's going to happen it's going to happen."
Then of course there were those who felt compelled to judge, like this mum, "1. You can buy them like that now 2. Bloke is old enough for a mortgage, get him out of nappies."
One parent had a great tip, sharing, "I always just sized up."
But we loved the comment from this viewer, who noticed something else: "Forget that [nappy] tip, want to share how you get your baby to cooperate like that?"
